With Love: Ellie Mae

Meet Ellie Mae, one of our absolutely *adorable* loyal customers. Ellie Mae’s mom was proud to show of her little girl, and let us know how The Honest Kitchen has helped her out.

“This is Ellie Mae. She is a black and tan dapple miniature dachshund. She is the first dachshund I’ve owned and the first dog that thinks she owns me. Ha! Have you ever heard the expression “Nothing will turn a man’s home into a castle more quickly and effectively than a dachshund.” She really thinks we are her servants. LOL. Before she arrived, I first asked the breeder to put her on Embark the week she started weening her off of her mom. She has been on Embark every since and loves it. Her coat is beautiful and shiny and doesn’t shed much at all. She is no doubt the “Queen” of the house, although she will soon be sharing that title with another female dachshund puppy that is due to arrive in our home in just a few weeks. These dogs can be very addictive, so don’t get one if you don’t want at least two. Ha! I’m so thankful that Honest Kitchen is able to provide such great food that we can trust for our new little members of the family. Thanks Honest Kitchen!

This picture is of Ellie Mae posing for the camera while playing with her toys. She loves to take pictures. She always stops to see what I’m doing and that’s when I snap snap snap…”

We love to hear from our readers and customers, so please, send a photo and a short paragraph of why you love your pup so much, I’d like to feature them weekly!
