We are F-A-M-I-L-Y… ever expanding and ridiculously happy!

After a nice weekend in the #1 dog-friendly city in the country (yes, we wore flowers in our hair and left our hearts there, too), we returned to work today just in time to meet our newest visiting friend: Peanut, a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier. In the coming weeks we’ll have more information up about our resident pups, but if you didn’t know, we currently have 2 in-house terriers (with two more Bostons to follow suit soon). All the people out there owned by Terriers or have ever met a Terrier know that they are a very energetic bunch, but surprisingly enough they haven’t taken over the office.
Where was I? Ah yes, Peanut is an adorable little lady that turned 2 years old today, so we’re having a little Ice Pup fest for her. Birthday parties of all kinds seem to be a pretty regular occurrence here at the HK headquarters. For Texas’ birthday, Jenna made a cake that looked like it came from a fancy bakery. I think that recipe will be published in a forthcoming edition of the newsletter, so if you have any upcoming dawgie birthdays, it’s pretty much a must-have!
