Random Ruffs: Dogs Mouth Cleaner than Yours?

Have you always been told a dogs mouth is cleaner than your’s. So, we use all that listerine and brush 3 times a day only for the wild mut down the street to have less cavities? Modern Dog clears things up a bit, or do they?

“Dogs don’t carry human viruses that can be spread through licks or bites, and humans mouths can harbor alot of contagious viruses and some nasty bacteria. Some human physicians feel that infections from human bites or “tooth on fist” trauma can be worst than those from dog bites. On the other hand, many dogs do have significant gum disease/infections with many different kinds of bacteria present, and dogs also lick their…well you know where, and sometimes they like to ear garbage or your know-what. You be the judge!” -Laurence D Braun & Dr. Lange (Modern Dog)
