So our family here at The Honest Kitchen decided to do something fun and host a monthly photo contest. We sent out a special newsletter notifying our subscribers and the response was overwhelming! Here are our two winners, each of whom won a box of their favorite HK diet!
Patch’s story:
“Patch is our 8 year old Dalmatian that had to transition from the Pacific Northwest to the Midwest. Needless to say, snow was a pretty new experience for him. The snow was only around for a day or two before and now it’s here for a few months.
Patch is a therapy dog for Domesti-Pups and enjoys visiting the elderly in the care centers and the young ones at the children’s center. He does 2 to 3 visits per month.
We changed Patch’s food to Force & Embark a couple of years ago and it has helped his allergies considerably. He loves the food!
We are currently fostering a 9 year old Dalmatian and Patch is slowly acclimating to having a step brother. Cornell will also be going to training to become a therapy dog.”

Mattie’s story:
Mattie is a 3 year old Dogue De Bordeaux who barely ate the first year of her life. We tried many things and treated her for
many parasites and still she would not eat on her own (trust me I tried). I found The Honest Kitchen Embark and gave it a try and as you can guess, it worked. Now we cannot get her to stop eating!
While Mattie was a puppy I was unloading the dishwasher and turned around and there she was! I had never seen anything like this, until she did it again. Now she only has her head in the dishwasher when they are dirty.
That’s our Mattie girl, always doing something we have never seen another dog do!

This month we want you to send us your four-legged companion’s picture that best captures why you just can’t help but LOVE your furry friend! Along with the photograph, in 250 words or less, tell us how The Honest Kitchen has changed your pet’s life, why you love your pet so much, or an unforgettable experience your friend has encountered.
Every month we will be selecting our favorite photo and share their story in our next newsletter for all to enjoy. The winning photo will also receive a free 10 lb. bag of their pet’s favorite Honest Kitchen diet. All entries can be submitted via email at pictures@thehonestkitchen.com.
