Is it weird that I have fun preparing our food for my pup, Samson? Even if it is, I don’t care because seeing my little man wag, wiggle and attempt to wait patiently for his food makes me feel good. I like putting effort into making sure he eats well and gets a good start on a long life (He’s only 8 months old). Sammy Sammerson is currently eating Embark with a little bit of buffalo mixed in and we’re discovering what does and doesn’t like. Just yesterday we found out that he doesn’t like yogurt, but really enjoys cottage cheese. He’s also mad for carrots and fresh, cold water.
Anyone out there want to share their hints and tips on playing a more active role in your companion animal’s nutrition?
I have one for you: When your dog seems stressed or needs a little calming down, hydrate your food with Chamomile tea instead of just plain water, but make sure it’s sufficiently cooled before you use it!
