Slentrol. Have you heard of it? Hopefully it’ll never catch on, but in our hurried lives where we’re searching for a quick fix, it is quite possible that it will in some circles. Slentrol works by inhibiting fat absorbtion in your pup’s body and supressing the appetite so that your hungry dog won’t be so hungry anymore. I don’t know about you, but I’d be really upset if someone KO’d my appetite without my permission and then I had to live with the side effects of vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy. Encourage your kids to play games with Sparky when everyone’s stuck inside for the winter. (Unless of course, Sparky is a Mastiff and you live in an apartment.)

You don’t eat Big Macs, so why should your dog? Say no to highly processed pet foods and yes to foods without preservatives, with good quality proteins, and if you have the time, home cooking!
