“Boasting the ability to harvest and preserve sunlight, the Sun Jar’s solar cell charges its battery in just a few hours during the day. At night, the battery powers three LED lamps that produce a soft, natural glow. A couple of these on the patio will create just enough light for enjoying the outdoors at night, with no added energy costs. Or place them throughout your little house on the prairie for a nostalgic glow.”
Though not directly related to all our pets, thanks to ecofabulous, I recently purchased the “Sun Jar” from Target, and it got an interesting reception from my min pin children at home. They stared in utter amazement as the small jar slowly lit up and glowed by the window. “What is this thing daddy?!” one asked. (I’m sure that’s what he said). None the less, he was happy his play area was lit up by something earth friendly and conscious of energy preservation. I have a few around the house, which provide a soothing lighting experience at night.
