Daily Paws: Pets & Drivers A Bad Mix?

Apparently someone with a poodle in their lap cut off California Assemblyman Bill Maze on the 5 freeway as he made his way to work, so he had to get all up in it! Maze has proposed a law banning dogs in the front seats of a car, with a fine for the driver if caught. Bolstered by a survey by the AAA that finds pets are the biggest distraction in cars, Maze says he has nothing against dogs but rather looking out for the safety of the state’s drivers. What’s one more regulation on us Californians anyway right?!

I’ll admit though, I’m guilty as charged, are you?
