Coming soon… better than the bags!

The Honest Kitchen today unveiled a brand new packaging solution that is sensitive to the environment, safe and protective for its food-grade contents, re-sealable, economical - and beautiful.

The company sought inspiration, advice and feedback from California to Europe to come up with a unique package to be proud of. Homeopathics: How to treat hives naturally

Hives are unsightly, uncomfortable, and the body’s unfriendly response to an irritating substance that it’s come in contact with. Symptoms of an allergic reaction can be puffy or swollen skin that has (or doesn’t have)small to medium sized bumps, runny nose, and difficulty in producing clear breaths. If your dog is having a very mild case of reaction, you can try treating it homeopathically, but if the situation seems serious, please seek professional medical advice. For more information on Veterinary Homeopathy, check out the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy.

For puffy swellings that are red, fluid-filled, have a shiny surface, are itchy, sore, and the surrounding skin is sensitive or if the eyes are puffy and itchy try Apis.

For itchy skin that is covered n small brown scabs accompanied by violent itching, licking, or chewing with red stainer fur and accompanying neediness try Nat Mur

For small red hives resembling or coming from poison ivy where the skin is red, swollen, and warm to the touch with the animal having incessant bouts of itching and scratching, try Rhus Tox.

There’s a great book by Kaetheryn Walker called “Homeopathic First Aid for Animals“, that can prove to be a valuable resource to your household. Also, we recommend “Holistic Guide for a Healthy Dog” by Wendy Volhard and Kerry Brown, D.V.M. They have a section on homeopathy and other natural healing modalities.
